NPL preparations concluded, NPL starts from tomorrow
Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has taken a briefing on the security arrangements and final preparations for the second edition of the Nepal Premier Cricket League (NPL), which begins on Monday.
Home Minister Aryal has inquired about the security preparations of the NPL from Kathmandu Chief District Officer Ishwor Raj Poudel and Kathmandu Police Chief Ramesh Thapa.
According to the Home Minister’s Secretariat, in the meeting, Aryal had directed to keep security arrangements tight and proper throughout the cricket season and to prevent any untoward incident.
In the meeting, Aryal said, “Since cricket will be held at night for the first time, it is necessary to strengthen and improve the security arrangements this year, so I am directing you to make arrangements accordingly.”

CAN has informed that preparations for the second edition of the NPL, which will be held from tomorrow to November 10, have been completed.
NPL matches will be broadcast on Star Sports and Kantipur TV, while OTT platforms will be broadcast on Dish Home’s Go app for a fee. CAN has informed that NPL matches will not be broadcast on YouTube this time.
