Consent between CAN and disgruntled national cricketers
Cricket Association of Nepal CAN and disgruntled national cricketers have reached an agreement. As per the agreement reached on Sunday, CAN has decided to retain Sandeep Lamichhane as the captain, while the six-month action against Gyanendra Malla, Dipendra Singh Airee, Sompal Kami and Kamal Singh Airee will be withdrawn.
Expressing dissatisfaction with CAN’s player classification, CAN had removed captain Gyanendra Malla and appointed Sandeep Lamichhane as captain.
Similarly, it was decided to keep ban four players for six months. With the mutual agreement all the players will now join the close camp and the national team’s close camp will start from tomorrow.
