India announces World Cup 2023 squad
India has announced the 15-member squad for the ODI World Cup. India on Tuesday announced its team for the World Cup to be held in India from October 5 to November 19.
KL Rahul, who has been out of the team due to injury for a long time, has been included in the Indian team. Similarly, famous spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has not been included in India’s World Cup team
Indian World Cup squad: Rohit Sharma (captain), Hardik Pandey (vice-captain), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Akshar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami and Mohammad Siraj.
India is playing its first match in this World Cup against Australia on October 8.
