Rabindra Dhant becomes the first Nepali player to become the MFN Champion
Nepali MMA fighter Rabindra Dhant defeated Indian fighter Chunreng Koren to win the bantamweight championship title at Matrix Fight Night 17 (MFN 17). With this historic victory, he became the first Nepali fighter to become the MFN champion.
Known as ‘The Indian Rhino’ for his powerful wrestling and aggressive power, Koren tried to create pressure from the start, but Rabindra responded with calm coordination and skillful strategy.
The game changed in the third round. Rabindra started to strike at a fast pace, putting Koren in serious trouble. Finally, after a decisive combination, the referee stopped the fight and declared Ravindra the winner by TKO.
