Nepal beats Baroda by 27 runs
The Nepali national cricket team, which is on the tour of India, has won its second consecutive victory. Nepal defeated the Baroda Cricket Association team by 27 runs on Tuesday.
Chasing the target of 157 runs given by Nepal, Baroda was all out and scored 129 runs in 20 overs.
Earlier, Nepal, who lost the toss and batted first, scored 156 runs losing 6 wickets in 20 overs. For Nepal, Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh scored 9 runs each, while captain Rohit Paudel scored 18 runs, Anil Shah scored 25 runs, Gulshan Jha scored 13 runs, and Sandeep Jora scored 28 runs. Similarly, Kushal Malla scored 40 unbeaten and Dipendra Singh Airee scored 5 runs.
Baroda bowler Baba Khan took 2 wickets and Parikshit Patidar and Mohit Mongia took one wicket each.
This is Nepal’s second win in a row. Earlier, Nepal had defeated Gujarat Cricket Association. Now Nepal is scheduled to play another match against Gujarat on April 3 and Baroda on April 5. Similarly, the top two teams will play the final on April 7.
