PM CUP : APF, Madhesh Province, Bagmati Province wins

APF club has won the third victory in the ongoing PM Cup. APF defeated Lumbini Pradesh by 7 wickets in the match held at Bhairahawa on Thursday.

Chasing the target of 134 runs given by Lumbini Province, APF achieved the target by losing 3 wickets in 22.1 overs. Earlier, Lumbini, who batted first, scored 133 runs in 41 overs.

After this win, APF has 6 points in 6 games and is in sixth place in the points table. Now APF will play next match against Gandaki Province in Mulpani on Saturday. Similarly, Lumbini Province will play against Bagmati Province at TU Ground on Saturday itself.

Madhesh Province and Bagmati Province also won in the match held on Thursday.

Madhesh province defeated Gandaki province by a wide margin of 145 runs in the match held at TU ground. Chasing the target of 336 runs given by Madhesh Provine, Gandaki Province was all out and scored 190 runs in 39.5 overs.

Batting first, Madhesh Province scored 335 runs with the help of Anil Shah’s 127 runs and Arniko Yadav’s 63 runs, losing 5 wickets in 50 overs.

After this victory, Madhesh province has 10 points with 5 wins in 8 games and has risen to the third place in the points table. Similarly, Gandaki province has 4 points in 6 games and is in eighth place.

Similarly, Bagmati Province defeated Sudurpaschim Province by 97 runs in another match held at Mulpani Ground on Thursday. Chasing the target of 248 runs given by Bagmati Province, Sudurpaschim was all out and scored only 150 runs in 303 overs.

Earlier, Bagmati Province batted first and scored 247 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 50 overs.

After this win, Bagmati Province has climbed to second place with 10 points in 8 games. Similarly, Sudurpaschim has dropped to the fifth place with 8 points in 6 games.
