Australia won by 28 runs against Bangladesh. Australia defeated Bangladesh by 28 runs according to the Duckworth-Lewis rule (DLS) in the Super Eight match of the ongoing T20 World Cup.

Chasing the target of 141 runs given by Bangladesh, Australia scored 100 runs with the loss of 2 wickets in 11.2 overs after the game was interrupted by rain.

For Australia, David Warner scored an unbeaten 53 runs while Travis Head scored 31 runs. Earlier, Bangladesh, who batted first, scored 140 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs.

After this victory, Australia has gained an important 2 points in Group One of the Super Eight. Now Australia will play against Afghanistan on Sunday morning and Bangladesh will play against India on Saturday night.
