Nepal won against Oman in last warm up match

Nepal defeated Oman by 2 wickets in the warm-up match. Chasing the target of 268 runs given by Oman in the match completed on Thursday at the Harare Sports Club in Zimbabwe, Nepal achieved the target by losing 8 wickets in 44.5 overs. Sandeep Lamichhane finishes with a six.

Kushal Bhurtel scored 101 runs for Nepal, Asif Sheikh scored 23 runs, Bhim Sarki scored 56 runs, Rohit Paudel scored 31 runs, Dipendra Singh Airee scored 26 runs, Kushal Malla scored 17 runs, Arif Sheikh scored only 2 runs.

Earlier, after winning the toss, Oman batted first and scored 267 runs in 49.2 overs. Nepal has achieved its first victory after consecutive losses in three practice matches.

Now Nepal will start the tournament next Sunday by playing host Zimbabwe under the World Cup qualifier.

After that, Nepal will play the second match against USA on Asar 5. Nepal will play West Indies on Asar 7. Nepal will play the last match of the group stage against the Netherlands on Asar 9.
