Nepal national cricket team welcomed at the airport
Acting Member Secretary of the National Sports Council Prakash Kumar Kusari welcomed the Nepalese men’s cricket team at the International Airport on Thursday after presenting their talent in the 19th Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China.
By defeating Mongolia and Maldives, the Nepali team set a world record and succeeded in bringing Nepal’s name to the top in world cricket.
While trailing by 203 runs against India, the Nepali team was limited to 179 runs and was defeated by 23 runs in the quarterfinals. Although the Nepali team was defeated, it reached the stage of world cricket.
