Nepal beats Oman
Nepal has won over Oman. Nepal defeated Oman by 37 runs in the ongoing triangular T-20 series which was completed last night.
Chasing the target of 177 runs given by Nepal, Oman scored only 139 runs in 19.1 overs and Nepal won by 37 runs. For Oman, Shoaib Khan scored 45 runs while Rafiullah scored 33 runs. Similarly, Nepali bowler Karan KC took 3 wickets while Kushal Bhurtel and Gulshan Jha took 2 wickets each.
Earlier, after losing the toss and batting first, Nepal scored 176 runs losing 6 wickets in 20 overs. For Nepal, Gulshan Jha scored 40 runs while Kushal Malla scored 30, Anil Shah and Aasif Sheikh scored 27-27, Kushal Bhurtel scored 20 and Dipendra Singh Airee scored 18 runs in 5 balls.
This is Nepal’s first win in the second match in the series. Now Nepal will play another match in this series against Canada on Tuesday and against Oman on Wednesday.
