COPA America 2024 : Brazil & Colombia advances to quarter finals
Colombia and Brazil and Colombia have reached the quarterfinals of the Copa America.
In the last match of the group stage, which ended on Wednesday morning, Colombia and Brazil ended in a 1-1 draw, and both of them reached the quarter-finals from Group D.
In this match, Brazil took the initial lead with Rafinha’s goal in the 12th minute of the game, but Colombia equalized with the goal of Colombia’s Daniel Munzo in the injury time after the 45th minute of the game. After that, there was no goal in the game and the game ended in a draw.
After this draw, Colombia reached the quarter-finals by gaining 7 points with 2 wins and 1 draw in Group D. Similarly, Brazil has 5 points with 1 win and 2 draws in 3 matches and has reached the quarterfinals as the second.
Costa Rica and Paraguay in Group D have been eliminated from the group stage.
Now Brazil will face Uruguay in the quarterfinals, while Colombia will face Panama.
