Asia cup 2023 :India beats Nepal by 10 wickets
India defeated Nepal by 10 wickets and reached the Super Four of the Asia Cup.

In the rain-affected match on Monday night, India achieved the target of 145 runs without losing any wicket in 20.1 overs.
India was given a target of 145 runs in 23 overs as per the Duckworth-Lewis rules after the rain interrupted the match. In India’s victory, captain Rohit Sharma scored an unbeaten 74 runs while Shubman Gill scored an unbeaten 67 runs.

Earlier, Nepal lost the toss and batted first and scored 230 runs in 48.2 overs. Aasif Sheikh scored a superb 58 runs for Nepal and he shared a brilliant partnership of 65 runs with Kushal Bhurtel for the first wicket. Similarly, Kushal Bhurtel was dismissed after scoring 38 runs.

Similarly, Sompal Kami scored 48 runs with excellent batting. Sompal Dipendra Singh Airee scored 29runs, Bhim Sarki scored 7 runs, captain Rohit Paudel scored 5 runs, Kushal Malla scored 2 runs, Gulshan Jha scored 23 runs, and Sandeep Lamichhane scored 9 runs. Similarly, Karan KC scored 2 runs while Lalit Rajbanshi was dismissed for zero.

Likewise, Indian bowlers Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammad Siraj took 3-3 and Mohammad Shami, Shardul Thakur and Hardik Pandey took one wicket each.
With this, India and Pakistan have reached the Super Four from Group A, while Nepal has been eliminated from the tournament.
