ICC T-20 WC QUALIFIERS : UAE beats Kuwait
UAE has won the T20 World Cup for the second time in a row. UAE won their second consecutive win in Group B by defeating Kuwait by 5 wickets in the match completed on Tuesday. After two wins, UAE’s semi-final journey will be decided after the last match.
Chasing the target of 89 runs given by Kuwait, UAE achieved the target by losing 5 wickets in 14.2 overs.
After this win, UAE has 4 points in 2 games in Group B. In Group B, Bahrain has 2 points from 2 matches while Hong Kong also has 2 points from 2 matches.
Similarly, Kuwait has been eliminated from the race for the semi-finals after losing for the second time in a row. Now on Thursday, there will be a match between Hong Kong and UAE and Bahrain and Kuwait. Only after these matches will the semi finals be decided. From Group A, Oman and Nepal have reached the semi-finals.
