National cricket team close camp starting from today
The close camp of Nepali national cricket team is starting from today. Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) had announced a 30-member team in the first phase for the closed training. Players were to report at the team hotel on Sunday.
Earlier, CAN’s board meeting on 29 December had excluded outgoing captain Gyanendra Malla, vice-captain Dipendra Singh Airee, Kamal Singh Airee and Sompal Kami from the central contact for four months for violating the code of conduct. Because of this issue some players haven’t reported yet..
Some players are supporting him on this issue. Meanwhile, the players have been demanding the removal of current captain Sandeep Lamichhane and reversal of the player’s action. Can is preparing to start cricket training even without dissatisfied players
