Madhesh United welcomes the Netherlands’ Romee Veenstra for EWVL
Netherlands’ Romee Veenstra to play for Madhesh United. Madhesh United has signed Netherlands’ Romee Veenstra for the second edition of the Vatsalaya Everest Women’s Volleyball League (EWVL).
Madhesh has announced Veenstra as its first foreign player. A new generation of players has emerged in women’s volleyball in the Netherlands in recent years. One of them is Romy Veenstra. Veenstra has achieved success at a young age with her excellent sportsmanship and commitment. Veenstra, who stands 188 cm tall, is an outside hitter.
She has been performing well since the 2021/22 season, playing for Sudosa-Desto, a club in the top division of the Netherlands. She is considered a reliable player in both the team’s attack and defense. In 2024, she won the Netherlands Youth National Championship.
Madhesh United is very happy to sign him to the team and is confident that Veenstra’s arrival will make the team even stronger.
