Palesha Goverdhan honored by the metropolis with a cash prize
Kathmandu Metropolis has honored Para Taekwondo player Palesha Govardhan with a cash prize.
Mayor Balendra Shah and Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol honored Taekwondo player Palesha Govardhan with a cash prize of five lakhs on Wednesday.
Kathmandu Metropolis has also honored Kaviraj Negi, the bronze medalist of the Paralympic Games held in Paris, with cash. The metropolis honored Negi with 3 lakh cash.
Palesha Govardhan, the bronze medalist of the 17th Para Olympics held in Paris, capital of France, returned home on Wednesday morning. The National Kahalkud Parishad gave him a tour of the city from the airport to the Dashrath Stadium as a mark of respect.
