The second Gurukulam Inter-School Futsal Championship begins on Kartik 26
The second Gurukulam Inter-School Futsal Championship, organized by The Gurukulam School, is set to begin on Kartik 26. The championship will be held for two days on Kartik 26 and 27 at the futsal ground of The Gurukulum School in Sitapaila.
The participating schools have been divided into five different groups, each consisting of four teams. The tournament will be played on a league-cum-knockout basis.
After the league stage, the top five teams in each group will advance to the second round, where they will play in the Super Five round. The tournament will be inaugurated by Aruna Gurung, head coach of the National Sports Council.
The game will begin after the opening ceremony. Competition coordinator Mano Vaishya said that this is not just a competition but a way to build friendship between schools and celebrate the energy and teamwork of the youth.
The tournament is powered by RJM Motors, while Asmita Publications, Asia Publications, and Bishnu Devi Copy Industries are co-sponsors. RJ Sports, Read & Return, and Subheksha International Hospital will also be supporting the tournament.
