Oman secures the third place in ACC Premier Cup
The ACC Premier Cup third place match between Oman and Kuwait has been canceled due to bad weather.
According to the rules of the competition, the team Oman, which is ahead in the ICC rankings, has won. Oman has secured a place in the ACC Emerging Asia Cup. The top three teams in the Premier Cup will play in the ACC Emerging Asia Cup.
Oman was chasing the challenge of 131 runs given by Kuwait before the game was stopped. By the time the game was stopped, Oman had scored 41 runs at the end of 6 overs without the loss of a wicket. Nepal and UAE will play the final game on Monday . The winner will qualify for Asia Cup 2023.
If the game cannot be played tomorrow due to rain, there will be a reserve day for one day. If the match cannot be played even on the reserve day, the match will go to super over. In Super Over, when both the teams bat one over each, whoever scores more runs will be the winner. And if there is no super over, the team that is higher in the one-day rankings will be selected.
