NPL : Sudurpaschim Royals into the playoffs, Sudur beat Pokhara
Sudurpaschim Royals has reached the playoffs of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
Sudur Paschim defeated Pokhara Avengers by 5 runs in the match completed on Sunday and secured their place in the playoffs.
Chasing the target of 154 runs given by Sudurpaschim, Pokhara scored 148 runs in 19.4 overs and Sudurpaschim won by 5 runs.
Batting first, Sudurpaschim scored 153 runs after losing 7 wickets in 20 overs.
After this win, Far West has secured a place in the playoffs. Sudurpaschim has 10 points in 6 games and has risen to the top.
Pokhara was already out of the race for the playoffs.
Now the last match before the NPL playoffs of this season will be played between Sudurpaschim Royals and Karnali Yaks on Monday morning. After this match, the final equation of the playoffs will be decided.
