Nepal loses to Bangladesh in the SAFF U-17 Women’s Championship
Nepal has lost to Bangladesh in the SAFF U-17 Women’s Championship. Bangladesh defeated Nepal 3-0 at the Changlimithang Stadium on Sunday.
Bangladesh scored two goals in the first half and one goal in the second half. After this win, Bangladesh has 6 points from three matches, including 2 wins and 1 loss, while Nepal has suffered its second defeat in three matches.
Nepal had earlier suffered a crushing 7-0 defeat to India but went on to defeat Bhutan 2-1. Similarly, Bangladesh had defeated Bhutan 3-1 and suffered a 2-0 defeat to India.
Nepal is now scheduled to play its next matches against Bangladesh on August 27, India on August 29, and Bhutan on August 31.
