ICC T-20 CWC : Bangladesh beats Sri Lanka
Bangladesh has made a winning start in the ICC T-20 Cricket World Cup 2024. Bangladesh won a thrilling 2-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in the match completed on Saturday morning.
Chasing the target of 125 runs given by Sri Lanka, Bangladesh achieved the target by losing 8 wickets in 19 overs.
Earlier, Sri Lanka, who batted first, scored 124 runs in 20 overs losing 9 wickets. This is Bangladesh’s first match in this World Cup. After this win, Bangladesh has gained 2 important points in Group D.
Similarly, Sri Lanka has suffered its second defeat in a row. Sri Lanka lost the first match against South Africa.
Now Bangladesh is scheduled to play their next match against South Africa on Monday, while Sri Lanka is scheduled to play against Nepal on Wednesday morning.
