ICC T-20 CWC : Oman eliminated, Scotland beats Oman
Oman has been eliminated from the group stage of the ICC T-20 World Cup. Oman became the first country to be eliminated from the group stage of the World Cup after losing to Scotland by 7 wickets in last night’s match.
Chasing the target of 151 runs given by Oman, Scotland achieved the target by losing 3 wickets in 13.1 overs. Earlier, Oman scored 150 runs after losing 7 wickets in 20 overs by batting first.
With this, Oman has suffered its third consecutive defeat in this World Cup and has been eliminated from the World Cup. Now, in the last match of the group stage, Oman will play against England on June 14.
Similarly, in Group B, Scotland won the second game in the third game. Scotland won one point after their first match against England was canceled due to rain. Now after three games, there are 5 points and they are at the top position in Group B. Scotland will now play their last match against Australia on June 16.
