Carlos Alcaraz wins Wimbledon title

Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz won this year’s Wimbledon men’s singles title. Alcaraz won the Wimbledon title for the second year in a row by defeating Nevac Djokovic of Serbia in three straight sets.

21-year-old Alcaraz defeated Djokovic in straight sets 6-2, 6-2, and 7-6. He also won the title by defeating Djokovic in the 2023 final.

This is the fourth Grand Slam title of young player Alcarez. He won the French Open this year and the US Open in 2022 along with two Wimbledon titles.

Similarly, Djokovic, who has won Wimbledon seven times before, has become the runner-up for the second year in a row. Djokovic, who won the Australian, French and US Open in 2023, is without a title this year.
