Crystal Palace won the Community Shield title
Crystal Palace have won the Community Shield title after defeating Liverpool in a penalty shootout in the final last night. After a 2-2 draw in regulation time, the match was decided by a penalty shootout.
Crystal Palace won the shootout 3-2. The Community Shield is played every year before the start of the Premier League between the previous season’s Premier League winner and the FA Cup winner. Crystal Palace have won the Community Shield for the first time in their club’s history.
