India reaches the Final of the Asia Cup 2025
India has entered the final of the Asia Cup by defeating Bangladesh by 41 runs.
Chasing the target of 169 runs set by India in the match held at the Dubai International Stadium on Wednesday night, Bangladesh were bowled out in 19.3 overs, scoring only 127 runs and losing the match. Saif Hasan top-scored for them with 69 runs.
Meanwhile, for India, Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets while Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakraborty took two wickets each. Apart from this, Axar Patel and Tilak Verma got one wicket each.
India has entered the Asia Cup finals undefeated. India now has one Super Four match left, scheduled to play Sri Lanka on September 26. This match will be a practice match for the Indian team before the final, as Sri Lanka’s chances of reaching the final have ended after losing both of their Super Four matches.
India are at the top of the Super Four points table with four points and a net run rate of 1.357. Pakistan and Bangladesh are in second and third place, respectively. The match between the two teams on Thursday was a semi-final. The winner of this match will play India in the final on September 28.
