Nepal suffers another defeat in World Cup League-2, losing to the UAE by 5 wickets

Nepal lost to the UAE by 5 wickets in a triangular series match of the ICC World Cup League 2. This is Nepal’s second consecutive defeat in the ongoing series. Chasing a target of 234 runs set by Nepal, the UAE achieved the target in 43.3 overs, losing 5 wickets.

Aryansh Sharma top-scored with 98 runs in the UAE’s win, while Alishan Sharafoo scored 45 and Muhammad Wasim scored 26 runs. Similarly, Nepali bowler Sandeep Lamichhane took 2 wickets while Karan KC and Dipendra Singh Airi took one wicket each.

Earlier, Nepal, who had won the toss and elected to bat first, were all out in 50 overs and scored 233 runs.
