Nepal lost to Bangladesh by five wickets in the U-19 Asia Cup
Nepal lost to Bangladesh in the U-19 Asia Cup in UAE. Nepal was defeated by five wickets in the match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday. Bangladesh completed the target of 142 runs given by Nepal by losing five wickets in 28.4 overs.
Jawaz Abrar scored 59 runs for Bangladesh’s victory. Captain Mohammad Hakim Tamimal scored 51 runs while Mohammad Farirad scored 13 runs.
On the other hand, Yuvraj Khatri took four wickets and captain Hemant Dhami took one wicket for Nepal. Before that, after losing the toss and being invited to bat, Nepal lost all the wickets in 45.4 overs and was reduced to 141 runs.
Opener Akash Tripathi scored 43 runs for Nepal. Wicketkeeper Utam Magar scored 29 runs while Abhishek Tiwari also scored 29 runs. Mohammad Al Fahda, Mohammad Iqbal, and Mohammad Hossain took two wickets each for Bangladesh.
