Nepal’s consolation win over West Indies ‘A’, West Indies ‘A’ wins the series
Nepal defeated West Indies A by 6 wickets in the last game of T-20 series. Chasing the target of 173 runs given by West Indies A, Nepal achieved the target by losing 4 wickets in 18.5 overs.
Anil Shah scored 58 runs and Asif Sheikh scored 51 runs for Nepal. Kushal Bhurtel scored 13 runs, Kushal Malla scored 37 runs unbeaten and Dipendra Singh Airee scored 5 runs. Obed McCoy took 3 wickets and Matthew Forde took one wicket for West Indies ‘A’
Earlier, after winning the toss, West Indies A scored 172 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs.
For West Indies A, Alick Athanaze scored 42 runs while captain Roston Chase scored 33 runs. Johnson Charles scored 24, Matthew Forde scored 23. Similarly, Sagar Dhakal and Sompal Kami took 3 wickets each for Nepal while Abinash Bohora took one wicket but conceded 49 runs for Nepal .
Along with this, West Indies A has won the T20 series by 3-2. Along with this, the Nepali cricket team is scheduled to leave for USA on Sunday for the World Cup.
