Karnali Yashvis wins Everest Women’s Volleyball League title
Karnali Yashvis have won the Everest Women’s Volleyball League title for the second consecutive time. Karnali defeated Lalitpur Queens 3-2 in the final held on Saturday.
Karnali, who won the first two sets 26-24 and 25-14, lost to Lalitpur in the third and fourth sets 25-13 and 25-17. They then staged a spectacular comeback in the final and deciding set to win the title by 15-8.
The tournament, which was previously held in Pokhara last Bhadra, was postponed due to the Genji movement. The tournament is now being held in Kathmandu without foreign players.
