ICC T20 WC : Namibia beats Oman in super over
Namibia has made a winning start in the ICC T20 World Cup. In the match completed on Monday morning, Namibia won the super over against Oman.
Chasing the target of only 110 runs given by Oman, Namibia lost 6 wickets in 20 overs and equalized by scoring 109 runs. The match was decided by super over.
In the Super Over, Namibia gave a target of 22 runs while Oman scored 10 runs for the loss of one wicket.
Earlier, Jan Frylink scored 45 runs while Nicholas Davin scored 24 runs in Namibia’s victory.
Earlier, after losing the toss, Oman batted first and scored 109 runs in 19.4 overs. For Oman, Khalid Kail scored 34 runs while Zeeshan Maqsood scored 22 runs and Ayan Khan scored 15 runs. Similarly, Namibian bowler Ruben Trumpelman took 4 wickets and David Wise took 3 wickets.
After this win, Namibia in Group B has gained 2 important points. Now Namibia will play their next match against Scotland on June 7, while Oman is scheduled to play against Australia on June 6.
