NPL : Janakpur Bolts reached the finals beating Karnali Yaks
Janakpur Bolts has reached the final of the Nepal Premier League (NPL). In the second qualifier held on Thursday, Janakpur defeated Karnali Yaks by 2 wickets and reached the final. Chasing the target of 119 runs given by Karnali, Janakpur achieved the target by losing 8 wickets in 19 overs.
For Janakpur, Jimmy Nisham scored 45 runs while Harsh Thaker scored 17 runs and Sher Malla scored 16 runs. Similarly, Karnali bowler Vipin Sharma took 3 wickets.
Karnali, who lost the toss and batted first, scored 118 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. For Karnali, Gulshan Jha scored 25 runs while Dev Khanal scored 24 runs. Similarly, Janakpur bowlers Lalit Rajbanshi, Jimmy Nisham, and Mohammad Moshin took 2 wickets each.
Now Janakpur will face Sudurpaschim Royals in the final. Similarly, Karnali is out after this defeat.
