Chasing the target of 258 runs given by Delhi, Mumbai scored 247 runs by losing 9 wickets in 20 overs.
Tilak Varma scored 63 runs while captain Hardik Pandey scored 46 runs. Suryakumar Yadav scored 26 runs and Ishan Kisan scored 20 runs for Mumbai Indians.
Mukesh Kumar and Rasikh Salam took 3 wickets haul for Delhi Capitals. Khaleel Ahmed took 2 wickets
Batting first, Delhi scored 257 runs losing 4 wickets in 20 overs. Jake Fraser McGurk scored 84 runs off 27 balls. Tristan Stubbs, Avishek Porel scored 36 runs, Shai Hope scored 41 runs and captain Rishav Pant scored 29 runs.
