IPL : CSK stunned, Royal Challengers Bengaluru into Play-offs
Royal Challengers Bengaluru have reached the playoffs of the Indian Premier League (IPL). In last night’s match, Bengaluru defeated Chennai Super Kings by 27 runs and reached the playoffs.
Chasing the target of 219 runs given by Bengaluru, Chennai scored 191 runs while losing 7 wickets in 20 overs and Bengaluru won the game by 27 runs. Chennai failed to score 201 runs to qualify for the playoffs.
After that, Bengaluru had the same 14 points but were selected for the playoffs on the basis of run rate.
Along with this, the four teams that will reach the playoffs in this season’s IPL have been decided. Among them are Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals , Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Kolkata remains at the top position in the points table while RCB is sure to remain at the fourth position The last two matches before the playoffs in IPL are happening today. Today Sunrisers Hyderabad is playing against Punjab Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders is playing against Rajasthan Royals.
