Saud and Snehal wins Duathlon title
Saud Aljawi of UAE and Snehal Sunil Joshi of India won the title of Duathlon in the the 2023 Asian Triathlon Cup and the South Asian Championship held in Pokhara . Saud ran 5 km in the 2023 Asian Triathlon Cup and the South Asian Championship. Running, 20 km, Cycling and 2.5 km. The distance of the race was 59 minutes 27 seconds and Joshi won the title by completing the race in 1 hour 12 minutes 19 seconds.
On the men’s side, Nepal’s Himal Tamata completed the distance in 59 minutes 47 seconds and Bashant Tharu in 1 hour 2 minutes 9 seconds and won the second and third place respectively.

India’s Sanjana Sunil Joshi came second with a time of 1 hour 13 minutes 25 seconds and Humi Budha Magar of Nepal came third with a time of 1 hour 14 minutes 30 seconds.
Mayor of Pokhara Metropolitan City Dhanraj Acharya, former Gandaki Province MP Deepak Koirala, General Secretary of Nepal Olympic Committee and President of Triathlon Association Nilendra Raj Shrestha, Head of Kaski District Sports Development Committee D.B. Nepali, journalist Keshav Pathak and others distributed medals, flower bouquets and certificates to the winning players.
