PM CUP : NPC beats Koshi, Sudur Paschim beats Karnali

Nepal Police Club has won the second consecutive victory in the ongoing Prime Minister’s Cup Men’s National Cricket Tournament.

Nepal Police Club defeated Koshi Povince by 7 wickets in the match held at TU Cricket Ground on Tuesday.

Chasing the target of 167 runs given by Koshi Province, Police Club achieved the target by losing 3 wickets in 23.1 overs.

Arjun Saud scored an unbeaten 62 runs while Dipendra Singh Airee scored an unbeaten 38 runs in Police’s victory. Similarly, Dilip Nath scored 31 runs, Sunil Dhamala scored 16 runs and Kushal Bhurtel scored 12 runs

After this win, Police have 4 points in 2 games and are in third place in the points table. Similarly, Koshi Province suffered its third consecutive defeat.

Now Nepal Police Club will play another match against Tribhuvan Army Club next Sunday while Koshi Province will play against Tribhuvan Army Club on Thursday.

Like wise, Sudurpaschim Province has won the second consecutive victory in the ongoing Prime Minister’s Cup men’s national cricket tournament.

Sudur Paschim defeated Karnali Province by 134 runs in the match held at the Bhairahawa Cricket Ground on Tuesday and won the tournament for the second time in a row.

Chasing the target of 278 runs given by Sudurpaschim Province, Karnali Province scored 143 runs in 37.2 overs.

Sher Malla took the most 4 wickets while Bikash Agri took 2 wickets while all out Karnali.

Batting first, Sudurpaschim Pradesh scored 277 runs after losing 5 wickets in 50 overs. For Sudurpaschim, Khadak Bohora scored 80 runs while Tek Rawat scored 59 runs and Kiran Thagunna scored 50 runs.
