PM CUP : Koshi Province lost against Bagmati Province
Bagmati Province defeated Koshi Province by 64 runs in the Prime Minister’s Cup One Day National Cricket Tournament today. Koshi Province hasn’t been able to win any match till now in the ongoing PM Cup Cricket Tournament.
Chasing a strong target of 274 runs for victory, Koshi Province lost all wickets in 47.1 overs scoring 209 runs. Sujan Thapaliya contributed the most 59 runs for Koshi Province. He played 76 balls and hit four fours and three sixes.
Also, captain Ankit Subedi scored 53 runs. He hit four fours and two sixes in 65 balls. Ashish Bhattarai scored 32, Sonu Ansari scored 21 and Hemant Rai scored 10 runs.
On the bowling side, Bagmati’s Ishan Pandey took five wickets and Surya Tamang took two wickets. Similarly, Pratik Shrestha and Rijan Dhakal took one wicket each.
Bagmati had lost the toss and were invited to bat first. Bagmati lost all wickets in 48.3 overs and made a total of 273 runs. For Bagmati, Ashutosh Ghiraiya added 118 runs off 111 balls. He hit a total of 16 fours and 2 sixes.
Similarly, captain Rit Gautam scored 49 runs, Rabin Joshi scored 43 runs and Pratik Shrestha scored 19 runs. Ashutosh and Rit shared 131 runs for the second wicket.
