IPL: Punjab beat Lucknow by 54 runs in IPL
Punjab Kings have defeated Lucknow Supergiants in the ongoing IPL. In last night’s match, Punjab defeated Lucknow by 54 runs. Chasing a target of 255 runs set by Punjab, Lucknow scored 200 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs.
Rishabh Pant top-scored for Lucknow with 43 runs, while Aiden Markram scored 42, Mitchell Marsh scored 40, Ayush Badani scored 35, and Mukul Chaudhary scored 21 runs. Similarly, Punjab bowler Marco Janssen took 2 wickets while Arshdeep Singh, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Vijay Kumar Vaishya took one wicket each.
Earlier, Punjab, who batted first, scored 254 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs with the help of Priyansh Arya’s 93 and Cooper Connolly’s 87 runs.
