EPL : Liverpool climbs to the top of the table
Liverpool has climbed to the top of the English Premier League table after beating Sheffield United 3-1 in last night’s match.
Darwin Nunez gave Liverpool the lead in the early 17th minute of the game. Then in the 58th minute Liverpool’s Conor Bradley scored own goal for Sheffield United. Liverpool and Sheffield were in 1-1 draw situation till 75th minute of the game. Alexis Mac Allister’s goal in the 76th minute gave Liverpool the lead. And then at last at 90th minute Cody Gakpo’s goal helped Liverpool to win comfortably.
After this victory, Liverpool has 70 points in 30 games and has risen to the top spot. Similarly, second-placed Arsenal has 68 points in 30 games, while third-placed Manchester City has 67 points in 30 games. Sheffield United has only 15 points in 30 games and is at the bottom of the league.
