Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in an exciting match. Kolkota defeated Sunrisers by 4 runs in the match completed on Saturday night.
Chasing the target of 209 runs given by Kolkota, Sunrisers scored 204 runs after losing 7 wickets in 20 overs, after which Kolkota won the match by 4 runs.
For Sunrisers, Heinrich Klaasen scored a top score of 63 runs, Mayank Agarwal and Abhishek Sharma scored 32 runs each and Rahul Tripathi scored 20 runs.
Similarly, Kolkota bowler Harshit Rana took the most 3 wickets, while Andre Russell took 2 wickets and Varun Chakraborty and Sunil Naran took one wicket each.
Kolkota, who lost the toss and batted first, scored 208 runs losing 7 wickets in 20 overs.
Despite a bad start, Kolkota made a huge total with the help of Andre Russell’s aggressive batting. Russell scored an unbeaten 64 off 25 balls. Similarly, Phil Salt scored 54 runs for Kolkota, while Ramandeep Singh contributed 35 runs and Rinku Singh contributed 23 runs.
Similarly, bowler T Natarajan of Sunrisers Hyderabad took the most 3 wickets, while Mayank Markande took 2 wickets and captain Pat Cummins took one wicket.
With this win, Kolkota started the new season victoriously, while Sunrisers started the season by losing in an exciting match.
