Gabrielle Benda reached Nepal to play Everest Women’s volleyball league
American volleyball player Gabrielle Benda has come to Nepal. She has come to Nepal to play the Vatsalya Everest Women’s Volleyball League (EWVL) 2024 which is going to be held here from Ashoj 14th to 19th. She is representing Karnali Yashvis team of Karnali in the league.
Benda arrived in Nepal on Friday. A few days after the ‘trophy unveiling’ in Karnali Yashvis team announced the news of signing Benda.
Benda, who came to play in the ‘Everest Women’s Volleyball League (EWVL)’ for the first time in Nepal, is a familiar face in America’s domestic league. She is a US national volleyball player. She has played many national level games. Known for her powerful athletic ability, Gabrielle has represented the US in many international competitions. She has received many other awards based on her contribution to both the national team and clubs.
Gabrielle, who arrived in Nepal today, said that she was very happy to join the ‘Karnali Yeshwij’ team, which was started with the main objective of developing sports and uplifting women’s volleyball. He said that he felt proud to play volleyball in a beautiful country like Nepal.
The ‘Everest Women’s Volleyball League’ organized by Infinity Dreams will be held at Dasharath Stadium Covered Hall in Tripureshwar from 14th to 19th Ashoj. 6 teams will participate in the league. The head coach of the women’s volleyball team from the Karnali Yashwij team is Kumar Rai. He is also the chief president of ‘New Diamond Youth Sports Club’.
