NPL-2: The highest run scorer will be awarded the Presidential Platinum Cap

The Presidential Graduate School is set to award the ‘Presidential Platinum Cap’ to the best-performing player in the second season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

The college, located in Baneshwor, Thapagaun, Kathmandu, affiliated with Westcliff University in the US, has announced that the player who scores the most runs in each day’s game will be honored with the ‘Presidential Platinum Cap’ College President Laxman KC informed that the player who scores the most runs throughout the competition will receive the platinum cap on the day of the competition.

Players who receive the cap, which will be provided in collaboration with CAN, will take to the field wearing the same platinum cap in future matches.

Adam Rossington, Mark Watt, and Ravi Bopara, who scored the most runs during the tournament, wore this cap. Currently, Pokhara Avengers’ foreign player Adam Rossington is at the top of the list of highest run-scorers, which is why he is the current Platinum Cap holder.

The college, which has been the official education partner of the NPL since its inception, has said that it plans to give a special gift to the player who scores the most runs after the NPL final match.

The Presidential Graduate School has been providing undergraduate and postgraduate education in the Faculty of Management for the last 15 years and in the Faculty of IT for the last five years. KC informed that special programs and awards have been announced to further inspire the NPL, believing that sports can enhance the capabilities and morale of youth.
