The constitution has put an end to discrimination: President Paudel

President Ramchandra Paudel has said that the constitution has put an end to all forms of discrimination and oppression created by the centralized and unitary state system and has joined the ethnic, linguistic, religious, cultural and geographical diversity of the Nepali society in the formula of national unity.

Expressing his best wishes today on the occasion of Constitution Day and National Day 2081, he expressed his belief that political parties, leadership, government and the entire state power will realize the responsibility of making Constitution Day more democratic, just and result-oriented.

All of us should understand that changes in the political system and government structure alone will not fulfill the expectations of the age, for this it is necessary to bring changes in the character, political integrity and values of the state power. Otherwise, the behavior does not confirm the political change,” continued the President.
