Prachanda’s residence vandalized with fire

Protesters have set fire to the residence of Pushpa Kamal Dahal, chairman of the main opposition party, the CPN-Maoist Center. Prachanda’s house in Khumaltar, Lalitpur, was set on fire on Tuesday.

Protesters who arrived in the morning initially pelted stones, but set it on fire in the afternoon. Locals said police opened fire in the area.

The residences of top leaders have been vandalized and set on fire today, the second day of the Gen Z movement.

So far, President Ram Chandra Poudel’s residence in Bohoratar, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s residence in Balkot, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkantha, and the homes of several ministers and MPs have been vandalized and set on fire.
