Friends Club has started the National League with a win
Friends Club has started the tournament with a win, defeating Kankre Bihar Club by a margin of 3-1 in the inaugural match of the National League. Prashant Laksham, Pravesh Basnet, and Ashish Chapagain scored goals to give Friends a win on Wednesday at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato.
Kankre Bihar scored a goal as a gift. With the win, Friends have added three points. Kankre Bihar took the lead in the sixth minute of the match. Sandeep Deuba’s shot was converted into a goal by Kamal Shrestha of Friends.
Prashant scored in injury time of the first half to bring Friends level. Prashant scored the goal from a pass from Mausam Subba. In the 90th minute of the game, Ashish scored a goal from Kamal’s pass, giving Friends an easy 3-1 victory.
