The Nepali national football team is playing against Laos today. Nepal is scheduled to face Laos today in the final match of the third round of the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.
The match will kick off at 5:45 PM Nepali time at the Lao National Stadium in Vientiane, Laos. ANFA has announced a 23-member team, captained by Kiran Kumar Limbu, to play against Laos.
The Nepali team consists of Kiran Kumar Limbu (captain, goalkeeper), Abhishek Limbu, Aditya Shakya, Anant Tamang, Ayush Ghalan, Bimal Pandey, Vishal Sunar (goalkeeper), Dipesh Gurung, Gillespie Jung Karki, Kritish Ratna Chunju, Mani Kumar Lama, Manish Dangi, Milan Rai, Pemba Dorje Lama, Rohan Karki, Rohit Chand, Roman Bhujel, Sanish Shrestha, Suman Shrestha, Samit Shrestha, Yogesh Dhimal (goalkeeper), Yogesh Gurung, and Yubaraj Khadka.
This is the first match for Switzerland’s Guglielmo Arena, who has been appointed as the head coach of the Nepali men’s national football team.
Nepal and Laos are tied at 3 points from 5 matches and have both been eliminated from the qualifying round.
