Nepal women leads in the T20I series against Malaysia women

Nepal women’s cricket team defeated Malaysia by 27 runs in the third T20 match held today at the YSD UKM Oval ground in Malaysia,

Chasing the target of 111 runs given by Nepal in the match played Malaysia lost 4 wickets in 20 overs and made only 83 runs and lost the match by 27 runs.

For Malaysia, Mahirah Izzati Ismail scored 44 runs while Winifred Durai scored 20 runs. For Nepal Kabita Kunwar, Sita Rana Magar and Indu Barma took one wicket each.

Earlier, after losing the toss and batting first, Nepal scored 110 runs losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. For Nepal, Rubina Chhetri scored 27 runs while Jyoti Pandey scored 23 runs, Sit Rana Magar scored 21 runs and Indu Burma scored 20 runs.

With this win Nepal is leading 2-1 in the 5-match T-20I Series.Now the fourth match of the series will be played on June 3 and the fifth match on June 4.
