ICC U-19 WC : Nepal lost against Bangladesh

Nepal lost to Bangladesh by 5 wickets. Chasing the target of 170 runs given by Nepal under the ongoing U-19 World Cup, Bangladesh achieved the target by losing 5 wickets in 25.2 overs. Subash Bhandari took all the five wickets of Bangladesh. Earlier, after winning the toss, Nepal batted first and scored 169 runs in 49.5 overs.

For Nepal, Bishal Bikram KC scored 48 runs while captain Dev Khanal scored 35 runs. Similarly, Arjun Kumal scored 14 runs,Bipin Khanal scored 2, Akash Tripathi 3, Gulshan Jha 3, Deepak Bohora 3, Dipesh Kandel 3, Subash Bhandari scored 18 runs and Durgesh Thapa scored 9 runs.

Similarly, Bangladeshi bowler Rohanat Dowlah Borson took 4 wickets and Sheikh Pavez Jibon took 3 wickets. Similarly, Iqbal Hossain Amon, Maruf Mridha and Zeeshan Alam took one wicket each.

After this victory, Bangladesh is still in the race for the semi-finals and Bangladesh has 4 points in 3 matches.

Nepal has already been eliminated from the race for the semi-finals. Nepal will now play their next match against India on Friday.
