NPL: Easy win for Karnali, Karnali Yaks beat Pokhara Avengers by 7 wickets
Karnali Yaks defeated Pokhara Avengers in the Nepal Premier League (NPL). Karnali completed the normal target of 104 runs given by Pokhara by losing 3 wickets in 15 overs. Karnali won the match by 7 wickets.
Gulshan Jha remained unbeaten on 49 runs while Chadwick Walton scored 42 runs in Karnali’s win. Before that, Pokhara, who won the toss and elected to bat first, scored 103 runs after losing all wickets in 16.3 overs.
Pokhara, who had a very good start, lost their first wicket in 3.5 overs after scoring 46 runs. For Pokhara, opener Dinesh Kharel scored 26 runs while another opener Andres Gauss scored 25 runs. Ramon Reefer scored 20 runs.
Similarly, except for captain Kushal Bhurtel and Bipin Khatri who scored 10 runs, others could not score runs.
On the other hand, William Bosisto of Karnali Yaks took the highest 6 wickets against Pokhara . Similarly, Bipin Sharma, Unish Thakuri, and captain Sompal Kami took one wicket each.
