Punjab Kings have defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in the ongoing IPL. In the first match held on Saturday, Punjab defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 6 wickets.
Chasing a target of 220 runs set by Sunrisers, Punjab achieved the target in 18.5 overs for the loss of 4 wickets.
Captain Shreyas Iyer scored an unbeaten 69 runs in Punjab’s victory, while Priyansh Arya scored 57 runs. Similarly, Prabhsimran Singh scored 51 runs. Earlier, Sunrisers Hyderabad, batting first, scored 219 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs.
For Sunrisers, Abhishek Sharma scored 74 runs, while Heinrich Klaasen scored 39, and Travis Head scored 38 runs.
