Ronaldo Returns, Ronaldo scores twice on second Man Utd debut – 12 years
Cristiano Ronaldo returns to the Premier League after 12 years with two goals as Manchester United beat Newcastle United 4-1 on Saturday.
Debuting for United for the second time, Ronaldo scored twice at home to Old Trafford. Ronaldo scored in injury time in the first half to give United the lead. Javier Manquilo equalized for Newcastle in the 56th minute.
But Ronaldo scored his second individual goal in the 63rd minute to give United a 2-1 lead. Then Bruno Fernandez scored in the 80th minute and Jesse Lingard added in injury time. After the third victory, United has risen to the top of the table.
